Another problem that can occur is that, the Rat Man can spawn but doesn’t drop the Gidbinn dagger when you kill it. If that happens, there’s nothing to do (at least, not until Blizzard patches this bug) but reload the game and try again. Sometimes this monster simply won’t spawn. However, there is a bug that can happen here. When you kill this creature, it will drop the Gidbinn dagger, which you then need to pick up.
One of these enemies should be a unique Rat Man. It has two big horns sticking out of it, and when you hover over it, you will see that it is called Gidbinn. But, the first Gidbinn you will come across is a sort of altar. The actual Gidbinn, the one you need to get in order to complete this quest, is a dagger. The first time you encounter the Gidbinn, you may be a bit confused as to what it actually is. Last but not least, Anya will open a portal for you that leads to the next quest, Act V Quest 4: Betrayal of Harrogath and also to one of the most famous Diablo 2 farms, Pindleskin. With Nihlathak now no longer in town you'll want to speak with Anya to Gamble from now on. Malah will give you a scroll that adds +10% to all of your resistances and Anya will give you a rare class specific item. Once Anya has been freed return to Harrogath and speak with both Malah and Anya for rewards. You'll find the Frozen River entrance in the Crystalline Passage. For this quest all you have to do is locate Anya in the Frozen River then return to Harrogath to speak with Malah and retrieve a special Thawing Potion that you'll use on Anya.
